Expertise

Product and/or Service Development

  • Collaborate with clients to identify and tactically execute activities to drive revenue enhancement within a 1 to 3 year time frame.
  • Develop financial and operational reporting Key Performance Indicators that drive accountability, improvement and long term value creation.
  • Work with cross functional teams to evaluate product/service capabilities, industry dynamics, economics, customer requirements, current product portfolio, competitive offerings, sales model and operating constraints.
  • Review Quarterly reports that identify market moves, competitor announcements ,analysis of their SEC filings and potential regulatory changes to identify potential issues.

Projects

  • Increased Ericsson’s Global Services contribution to total corporate revenue by 25% to $3B per annum through the divestiture of service lines and integration of global service offerings into a single portfolio
  • Strategic and Market Analyst for Ericsson’s cross functional teams to analyze the wireless data market, potential IP opportunities, develop service offerings and the supporting business cases
  • Researched competitive market and their IP portfolio for options covering IP services development, potential acquisitions, divesture of existing service offerings and market expansion for an international law firm based out of the U.K.
  • Directed a senior executive team to restructure, develop and execute a market/capture strategy and product portfolio analysis for a division of Leonardo S.p.A. (formerly Finmeccanica), a $1.7B multi-national Defense contractor to achieve a 6% increase in contribution to corporate revenue
  • Led a global market analysis of alternative energy, water reclamation and other developing technology and available products encompassing geographic areas of expertise and technology development, government and private sector funding of technologies and corporations active in the market
  • Directed a senior executive team to restructure, develop and execute a market/capture strategy for a division of Leonardo S.p.A. (formerly Finmeccanica), a $1.7B multi-national Defense contractor to achieve a 6% increase in contribution to corporate revenue
  • Authored a risk assessment on worldwide developments in the technology sectors for the U.S. Army Office of the Secretary. Specific projects included competitive analysis of communications and software technology among major global suppliers, with a focus on Asia
  • Collaborated with investors on a $100M acquisition and integration of 3 distressed companies which provided services to the U.S. and Canadian government and commercial entities
  • Conducted due diligence as the Advisor to the Chairman of the Source Selection Board on corporations competing for the $180M award for the largest Army R&D program that included General Dynamics, Booz, Allen, Hamilton, Exponent, SRI and others
  • Consulted on the development of the Army Venture Capital Initiative which makes investments of $500K to $2M at all stages of the investment cycle
  • Structured a $100M social impact fund between an international investment firm, a family office, a $2B private wealth advisor, and a $35M foundation
  • Collaborated with corporate founders on the development of the product offering and business case for an AI based logistics start up based in Dallas, Texas
  • Collaborated with corporate founders on a $10M capital raise for a new more profitable health insurance carrier designed to drive down the cost of insurance to businesses and the delivery of healthcare through the vertical integration of technology, transparency and strategic partnerships
  • Collaborated with corporate founders on a $2M capital raise for the first and only infant car seat made from a single piece of aerospace carbon fiber, a built-in roll bar and no moving parts. Corporate revenue is generated through the manufacturing of the car seat, product extensions and the licensing of its extensive IP portfolio
